Michael Stys

I am a class of 2021 graduate from South Lyon High School in South Lyon, Michigan.  I am currently planning on pursuing a career in law, either constitutional or corporate law.  I will be attending Michigan State University's James Madison College beginning in the fall of 2021.  I am an avid reader, and I enjoy learning about a broad variety of topics, my favorite being social studies.  I am planning on living in Michigan after graduating from college and law school.  I would prefer to work for a larger law firm post-graduation.  I am generally speaking a more reserved person, however, over the three years that I spent on South Lyon's debate team, I have learned how to be confident in front of a crowd.  Two of my favorite things to do in my free time are fishing and some woodworking.  I am easy to get along with, and fit well within team settings.  I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories, and making bonds along the way!
